This piece is inspired by a great man’s quote: “Even from my sick bed, even if you are going to lower me into the grave and I feel something is going wrong, I will get up.”

What started off as a wanton doodle on Dan’s sketchbook ended up as a heavily-researched and feverishly deliberate depiction of our dear leader, with many of the symbols depicted within telling a small narrative of the man on their own.
